It would be nice if the game history shows the cards played.

Alternatively, it would be nice if we could just know the contents of each players discard pile (and Hand+Deck).

It's actually really frustrating that the cards played are displayed *only* in the player mats—even playing sync, it's a giant pain to scroll down. Given that all the other cards visibly flipped are shown in the log, there's no reason not to show the plays in the log as well. I care way more about those cards than about their scrapped cards (or whatever)

I agree that we need cards played in the game log. It would also be nice to see the number of cards in deck shown in the upper left. Scrolling very far to see if someone's deck is empty is a real pain.

Agreed. Especially when playing async. In a game I’m playing a player was in gear 2, moved 7 spaces, through 2 corners (with a 3 and 4 limit), using only 3 heat, and all the log shows is a flip of a 4 and a 1 from + effects. So I have no way of knowing how they achieved that!

Was about to suggest the same thing. One more row in the log that would show the originally played cards, there is no reason not to have it.

Excellent implementation of the game, otherwise!

Yeah, the cards played need to be in the game log, and ideally shown at the top of the screen during play.

I think an option to simply view all discards on turn-based games would be great. Right now, I can't keep track of my own cards much less anyone else's. (If there's a way to see even my own discard now, please someone let me know!)

Note that my suggestion was implemented for Res Arcana, which has even smaller decks; again, only for turn-based. Having it be a game-start option is fine.

Yeah.
The log is quite verbose as it is but that seems like an important feature.

Probably even better but also more costly would be to have some kind of specific display option.
There are many possibilities, one would be that upon clicking a button, you would get a popup (or tab or block in the display...) that would gives details about everyone's last turn : Gear, speed, Cards played, Cards discarded/trashed, total heat paid, total heat cooled, possibly cards taken back from discard (when applicable), possibly number of cards drawn at end of turn

It's funny that you get to see the opponents scrapped cards, boost cards, etc, in the history log, but not the ones they played to set speed.

It is a significant drawback.

I wonder how many "slipstream" bug reports would go away if players could properly see the cards played by others.
