Unfortunately I don't know if they were aware of the bug and also had to refresh.
This happened during the game at table number 514961022 with seed eNoNy8cBwyAMXDDAlSwBKk-1QTCYKRg-uf-1-675QaMuuJXHdVKX44qO2_t2jRlMIVwnxpNv4lOkRXCNpgkbiI3lzD4wUFNWQkvo2XYSFmANvgaPwec0HcXb8d5DNE4SJZ3k_6JiLJw_TSQkYg
In my most recent experience with it (Table 613967485), I was directly after the player who used it. I didn't notice the third or fourth time that player made a discard, and another player ejected me from the game, costing me a lot of points and karma. (I did report it and the points were restored -- thanks, BGA!)
