During my game I had 4 unused dice and I got only 1 energy. Maybe the rule is written wrongly or I don't understand something.

Eye of the Storm awards energy for unused rerolls, not unused dice.
So, each player gets two rerolls. If you are satisfied with your initial dice and do not reroll, you will get two energy from Eye of the Storm. Reroll once, and you'll get two energy. Reroll twice, and you won't get any bonus energy from the card.
In The Shadows does not affect the number of rerolls counted. If you have a card which gives you an extra roll each turn, you essentially have three rerolls, and a chance to earn up to three energy per turn with Eye of the Storm.

I hope this helps, since the card has been working for me (I often use it) and this seems to be a simple misunderstanding of the application.

I have "Eye of the Storm" and when I hit the "resolve dice button" I get an error message "The server reported an error"
