couldn't beat a formation of 9,9,10,10 with my cards, i had one (9,water) one (10,10) two A's and two 2's so i could do a lot of diferent formations to beat the current trick, but the game would not accept any of my combinations as valid, from what i could understand of the rules any 2 doubles formation with the higher double beeing higher than the current higher double should win, but i tried a A,A,2,2 and couldn't play it.
