I'd like to help figure this out. On which move number did it occur?

In order to diagnose what's happening, we need to know where to look in your game. You can find the move number by looking in the upper-left cornerwhere the game progression is indicated (try using landscape orientation on mobile devices). You can also find it from the replay link when you click on the game log. Even easier, just look at the replay after your game ends and the move numbers are listed.

Your screenshot shows the counter, but not the map, making it impossible to verify the issue.

The discrepancy appeared during move 650, when Matt Budke took control of Petit Goave.

Here is a screenshot which confirms my assertion that 4 annexation cubes is the correct number deployed:

Yup, everything looks good. The counter correctly indicates the total cubes currently deployed on the map.

Yes, but the issue is that the column display does not match the counter on the left.

The "column display" represents remaining cubes. It is not intended to indicate how many are deployed on the board.

I won't be able to continue this exchange due to other pressing matters, but I encourage you to ask in the forums for more clarification.
