This adaptation is actually over the framework's recommended 10mb limit for image size, and this may be contributing to some performance problems others have reported. The only way I'd be able to improve resolution in this instance is with media queries as suggested in the studio "Cookbook" here:

I'll leave this open to see if others feel the same way.

Thanks for the info and for working on this adaptation!

In my case I don't think it's due to the density of my display but rather the pixel size of the window I'm displaying the game in. I'm not sure whether a similar approach to those recipes could be used but triggering on the display size of the images instead of the display density.

Maybe another option could be to prevent images from upscaling to bigger than 1:1, so not filling the browser width above a certain point (assuming that scaling with browser width past 1:1 is the cause of what I'm seeing).

BTW the smaller images like department tiles look fine; it's just the bigger ones like the map that have scaling artifacts.

Looking at some other recent adaptations like Arnak, it looks like they are loading more pixels than Carnegie does (at least least time I looked).

The graphics are updated with better optimization and resolution, especially on the main board.
