One thing that could reduce the issue is to make it so green cards and blue cards aren't directly next to each other in the player's hand. One thing though: It won't help if the player doesn't have any of the colors between green and blue, though.

Getting in the game resizing code might also reduce the issue, as then they wouldn't be so small.
