Even before this it was extra painful to play not time limit with friends, had to go restrict table to do so, its fine to only be able to play no time limit with friends, but make it easier to set up and def in normal mode should be able to play no time limit if one likes.

I agree with you both: it's a little hard to restrict to "my friends" and it ruined BGA. I've been playing for some years, and 90% of my games are played with "no time limit" with my friends.

Me and my friends know each other and we know sometime someone couldn't play so fast, etc, so this "no time limit" work for us - we don't want to ruin our reputation just due an interface/bga rule/block thing

Some importante information about this: when "purposing a rematch" it's still possible to keep the "no time limit"

Entièrement d'accord, surtout que l'on découvre la disparition de la fonction au moment de créer une partie, sans avertissement au préalable.

Jusqu'à présent on pouvait créer une partie sans limite de temps, inviter un ami à rejoindre cette partie et en attendant (parfois un jour ou deux) on pouvait utiliser BGA sans problème. Dorénavant, la partie en attente de l'ami est systématiquement supprimée... C'est dommage car on est rarement libres au même moment. Et pouvoir jouer, à notre rythme faisait partie du + de BGA, maintenant on doit être disponibles en même temps pour pouvoir lancer une partie. Je n'en comprends pas la raison....

La fonctionnalité a été supprimée de Board Game Arena soudainement.
Une discussion est en cours sur :
boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=28186
et inutile de dire que 96% des messages sont totalement contre cette suppression, avec de nombreux arguments, et appellent à ce que cette fonctionnalité soit réautorisée, au moins pour les parties en tour par tour.

N'hésitez pas à apporter vos arguments également.

As per above and discussion thread this Premium user would like the change reversed alternately a 1 move per week etc. longer time period option to be added.

This change is truly unacceptable. I cannot imagine that enough people were having real issue with this problem to take it away globally. We bought BGA premium BECAUSE of this option and have played with it on every game for years. Give it back. This is stupid.

I've just got my friends to jump through a hundred hoops so we could start a game of Wingspan, I told them it would be easy to learn the rules on here because it shows you what your options are each round. It explicitly said no time limit on the game! I told a new player to pick up Franklin's Gull from the bird display because it's awesome. And after one turn, BGA has cancelled the game. Happy new year.

Not sure if this is considered the same thing or not. I log in about twice a day, so I've always played only games with a speed of 1 move per day or 1 move every 2-3 days. You have taken that ability away, thus ruining BGA. Please give it back.
