I played Vampiric Crown and drew Igramul. I transmuted the energy and played Igramul which then drew me a new card(Steadfast Die) and asked me to claim 10 energy. After that, it still asked me if I wanted a name a card for Igramul's ability. So it copied Vampiric Crown's ability but still was able to use its ability so we abandoned the game.

I did want to test it further and played Steadfast Die which then asked me to name a card (like Igramul). I assume any card I play copies the previous effect and still plays its own.

Vampiric Crown has been working fine in my other games but the one thing that was different in this game is I played the Ability token that lets you claim two energy tokens (Move#143) so I could use it to summon Vampiric Crown. This might have caused the succeeding cards to have some sort of copy effect.
