In The Last Droids, you are an Ecomechanic, a sort of robot repairman in a New World, a world of depleted natural resources. Your goal: to help humanity survive by repairing, recycling or constructing pieces of robots from the Old World. You have to select the best droid wrecks, manage your resources and build the most efficient collection!
Every turn, you draw 2 droids cards and then choose which droid to give to your opponent, and which to keep. Then, you choose to recycle or repair your Droid, or to sacrifice it to build a House. There are 7 types of droids cards, each with unique abilities: water management, harvest, communication, collection, market, shed or house.
The game is made of seasons of 8 turns and it finishes after 3 seasons. At the end of the third season, or when all the House Droids have been built, the Ecomechanic with the most Recycling Points is granted the Medal of the Order of the Leaf, the ultimate distinction.

في لعبة آخر الروبوتات، أنت ميكانيكي بيئي، وهو نوع من مُصلحي الروبوتات في عالم جديد، عالمٌ ناضب الموارد الطبيعية. هدفك: مساعدة البشرية على البقاء من خلال إصلاح أو إعادة تدوير أو بناء قطع من الروبوتات من العالم القديم. عليك اختيار أفضل حطام الروبوتات، وإدارة مواردك، وبناء المجموعة الأكثر فعالية!
في كل دور، تسحب بطاقتي درويد، ثم تختار أيهما تُعطيه لخصمك، وأيهما تحتفظ به. بعد ذلك، يمكنك اختيار إعادة تدوير أو إصلاح درويدك، أو التضحية به لبناء منزل. هناك سبعة أنواع من بطاقات الدرويد، لكل منها قدرات فريدة: إدارة المياه، الحصاد، التواصل، التجميع، السوق، السقيفة أو المنزل.
تتكون اللعبة من مواسم، كل منها مكون من 8 أدوار، وتنتهي بعد 3 مواسم. في نهاية الموسم الثالث، أو عند اكتمال بناء جميع روبوتات المنزل، يُمنح ميكانيكي البيئة الحاصل على أكبر عدد من نقاط إعادة التدوير وسام وسام الورقة، وهو أعلى وسام.
