You must decide: invest in clean energy resources, or opt for cheap- but potentially disastrous - fossil fuels?
New Energies is rooted in the classic CATAN mechanics of harvesting, trading, and building. It adds new gameplay elements such as power plants, energy tokens, and environmental events that can affect your game positively or negatively.

في هذه التجربة المستقلة من كاتان، عليك أنت وزملاؤك اللاعبون إدارة احتياجات مجتمعكم من الطاقة. نحن في القرن الحادي والعشرين، وقد ولّى زمن مجتمع أسلافكم الزراعي. اليوم، يحتاج سكان كاتان إلى الطاقة للحفاظ على نمو مجتمعهم، لكن التلوث يُهدد الجزيرة.
يجب عليك أن تقرر: هل تستثمر في مصادر الطاقة النظيفة، أو تختار الوقود الأحفوري الرخيص - ولكن الكارثي المحتمل -؟
طاقات جديدة مستوحاة من آليات CATAN الكلاسيكية للحصاد والتجارة والبناء. وتضيف عناصر لعب جديدة، مثل محطات الطاقة ورموز الطاقة والأحداث البيئية التي قد تؤثر على لعبتك إيجابًا أو سلبًا.
